Board President
Anabel P. Reyes
Anabel P. Reyes is a Jefferson High School Alumni, born and raised in the West Side of San Antonio, her love for our city runs deep. Anabel has worked in the justice and public service sector for over 40 years, and has devoted her career to helping others. In her spare time, Anabel loves spending time with her grandchildren, is a Dallas Cowboys fan, social butterfly, and enjoys gardening. Her knowledge and expertise will be greatly valued in our organization, and we look forward to having her on the Bexar and Beyond team.

Marisa Flores
Marisa is a Certified Economic Mobility Mentor at Family Service. She has a Masters of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, and a Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Nonprofit Management, from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is also certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid, and Trauma Informed Care. She has over ten years of experience in various nonprofit organizations, in positions that include case management, outreach, program coordination, and other direct service roles where she worked one on one with the community she serves. Marisa loves bringing her family along to see the impact a helping hand can make, and enjoys supporting local small businesses.

Monica Santos
Monica is a proud alumni of The University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Nonprofit Management and a focus in Organizational Communication. After graduating she received her certification in Nonprofit Social Media Communication from the University of the Incarnate Word and completed the 2018 cohort of the Alexander Briseno Leadership Development Program.
She is a proud member of the homeschooling community, and has been educating her children and niece for the past 5 years. In her free time, Monica loves to explore different parks and museums with her family, discover new sushi and coffee spots, and play an active role in improving her community.
